Member's bio: Bozica Radjenovic

Bozica Radjenovic is a sculptress who lives and works in Ottawa. She was born and educated in Belgrade, Serbia. In 1991 she received a Master of Arts degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade. In 1993 she moved to Canada during the civil war in former Yugoslavia.

Bozica has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, most recently at Blok Gallery in Belgrade, Serbia, The Ottawa School of Art Gallery in Ottawa and Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. Her work can be seen in Museum of Modern Art in Belgrade, City of Ottawa Fine Art Collection and various private collections in Canada and Europe. Bozica has received grants from the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Arts Council. She is a member of Blink Artist Collective.
Bozica’s current practice involves an exploration of soft sculpture. The vacant space within these sculptuters suggests a haptic memory of bodies and object in absence.
