Member's bio: Carl Stewart

Carl Stewart is a weaver living and working in Ottawa. He has been a member of the Enriched Bread Artists since 1997.

Upcoming exhibitions include warehouse at the Rails End Gallery and Art Centre in Haliburton, ON in October 2010 and fragments at Evelevel Galley, Halifax, NS in early 2011.

Carl Stewart is grateful for support from the City of Ottawa, the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.

His work hangs in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa, ON, the City of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON, the Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation, New York, NY as well as in private collections in Canada, Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States.
