100th Birthday of The Standard Bread Building

The Standard Bread Company Building is 100 Years Old next week.
The commemorative cornerstone on the front of the building is dated August 20, 1924.

The EBA Board of Directors invites you to celebrate – come to a birthday party for the studio building – on Tuesday August 20, 2024, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.
We are planning to have a casual drop-in party in the parking lot, outside the loading dock.
There will be refreshments, 100 + balloons, music and artists.
Please plan to drop in and join us. Invite others to come celebrate the historic bread factory that has been the home to visual artists studios for 33 years.
EBA artists exhibition in the common space on the first floor for works of art that are about the building and its architecture. We are planning to also display some pictures of historic views of the building from the EBA archives.
Another reason to celebrate the building’s 100 years is that the artists are still here, and we want to celebrate that with the community.
